Year 1 Trip to Marshall's Arm July 2019
Now that we are in the summer term, it was time for Year 1 to return to Marshall's Arm for the final trip this year. We observed the seasonal changes since the last time we visited the nature reserve. On our way there we observed the urban area of Castle and contasted this with Marshall's Arm's rural environment. We noticed that there was a variety of housing including detached, semi-detached and terrace properties. In the rural area there was more evidence of a natural environment including trees, plants, insects and birds.
When we arrived at Marshall's Arm we took part in different activities that related to nature, including bug hunting, nature observing, sclupting and pond dipping.
