School Council
At Charles Darwin, we think it’s important to involve everyone in the school community in decisions and events. The School Council is a great way of doing this, giving children a say in school issues from their early days with us, until they leave us at the end of Year 6.
2024's new recruits were voted in by their peers after presenting their manifestos to their classes.
This half term they have already been in action - they met to talk about No Outsiders in school and we decided how they would like to raise money for Children in Need. They also took part in our deputy headteacher interviews asking some very thoughtful and interesting questions!
