Charles Darwin STEM Club

Week 1

Our first STEM club investigation is to make our own miniature catapult and complete a series of challenges! In your pack you will find the following

¨ Instructions to make your miniature catapult

¨ A series of challenges for you to have a go at

¨ 10 lollipop sticks

¨ Several elastic bands

If you want to attach a holder to your catapult from which to fire your object,  a milk bottle lid works really well! You could attach it to the lollipop stick using tape or double sided tape.

Remember to be sensible but have fun with your catapults and please email any pictures or evidence to 

deputy@charlesdarwin.cheshire.sch.uk

We will upload the best pictures to our school website.
