YEAR 1 - FRIDAY, FRIDAY PUNCH THE SKY DAY! 1ST MAY
Date: 1st May 2020 @ 8:18am
Hi Year 1!
We've reached another Friday, Friday punch the sky day! This week seems to have whizzed by! Sadly we would have been having a day out and going to the Toy Workshop at Nantwich Toy Museum today. We would have been looking at toys from the past and having a play with them, looking at what they are made out of and sketching some of them. Maybe you could set up your own museum with some of your own toys or even your parents old toys (if they have them in the loft) and label them. As part of the workshop we would also have been making some sock puppets using old buttons for eyes and old bits of material to make the tongue and other details. In past years some children have made snakes, or even imaginary creatures such as dragons! Ask your grown up if they have any old socks you could use and have a go. If you do maybe you could add it to a scrapbook or email Miss Barrow and I with a photo.
Have a fun Friday and a great weekend, hopefully the sunshine will come back again.
Take care and stay safe
Mrs Holden and Miss Barrow
