Summer term, April - May
Date: 31st May 2023 @ 10:56pm
Darwin’s Den started the term celebrating Ramadan and created sun catcher lanterns, which reflect the light, goodness, and joy of the most sacred time for Muslims.
22nd of April was Earth Day and the children thought about different ways in which we can help to protect our planet - we’ve displayed our work in our room.
At the beginning of May, King Charles the 3rd had his coronation and Darwin’s Den joined in the celebrations by making their own crowns to wear.
The children then became busy bees, creating their own hive and bees to celebrate the importance of them.
Just before the end of term Charles Darwin hosted it’s Sports Day and Darwin’s Den children were lucky enough to have a few evenings of extra training on the field.
Hope you're having a wonderful week off, see you next term for “30 days of wild.”
