Spring Term, January - March
Date: 16th Apr 2023 @ 9:42pm
We started this term way back in January.
We made bird feeders and placed them in trees around the school grounds and Celebrated Chinese New Year, the year of the rabbit. The children tried to eat tea with chopsticks, and all received a future cookie for pudding.
During February we made cards for people we love and made rice crispy cakes. The weather started getting better and the lighter evenings meant we could play outside for longer.
Then before we knew it, it was March. Darwin’s Den celebrated World Book Day by drawing their favourite character from their favourite book. We also celebrated St Patrick’s Day with lucky charm cakes, thinking about why we are lucky and painting rainbows. The children made Mother’s Day cards.
As the Easter holiday was at the start of April, we didn’t want to miss out in taking part in all things Easter, so we finished the term with Easter nest cakes and design an egg.
Hope you have all had an eggciting holiday!!
