November & December 2022
Date: 20th Dec 2022 @ 9:54pm
Wow! What a busy half term we've had! We started the term with bonfire toast and edible fireworks to celebrate Bonfire Night.
Then the children took part in creating a poppy field to show their respect on Remembrance Day. We can "Be Respectful".
Next, we joined in with The Children in Need "Spotacular" by designing spotty biscuits.
The World Cup started and Darwin's Den joined in with the football fever by making flags that supported the teams competing - England was a popular choice.
Then before we knew it, it was December, Yay Christmas!
Mrs Macaulay led a class in "design a paper snowflake" and although we all followed the same instructions each and every one was different!
The children created baubles to decorate our tree - it may be small but it was beautiful.
Christmas cards were made and there was even a Christmas themed scavenger hunt.
Phew!! I don't know about the children by I know myself and all the Darwin's Den team need a rest!
Have a Merry Christmas and we look forward to seeing you all in the new year.
