Penguins have won house points this week.

On Monday 18th we start UK Parliament Week with two of our Year 5 children representing Charles Darwin at Pupil Parliament.

Monday is also our KS2 Open Afternoon - parents and carers please join us from 1.30.

Our family learning session on Tuesday this week is Play Doh. Please sign up with the office.

Our Book Fair arrives on Thursday 21st and stays for a week - come along before and after school for a browse.

On Friday we have a team of children representing the school at a Boccia tournament and another playing basketball - we hope they have lots of fun and show good team spirit,

On Saturday 23rd some of our children will be parading in Northwich with lanterns they have made in school - letters have been sent to the families of the children involved.

Easter Holidays

Two whole weeks of learning from home!

I hope that you're all managing well and you're helping out around the house lots! As Mr Croft said in an email to you earlier, we will not be settting any extra work over the Easter holidays, but we would appreciate it if those of you who haven't uploaded anything yet could upload some work for us to have a look at- big well done to those of you have already done this; there are some great examples of learning from home.

Did any of you mananage to access the virtual Chester Zoo visit today? I hope you enjoyed it if you did.

For the optimists amongst us, the weather reports for the next few weeks seem promising. Let's hope we can all get out and enjoy some sunshine with our families. I know Easter for many- including myself- will be very different this year, but I'm certain we can all make the most out of our current situation.
