Christmas Holiday

School is now closed for the Christmas break. We would like to wish all of our children, their families and friends a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year.

School will reopen for children on Tuesday January 7th.

There were no house point winners this week - all children to return to school in full uniform (PE kits for those who have PE).

Good afternoon everyone

I hope you are all well. Today I have been thinking about how I have been grumbling a bit about having to stay in and not being able to see you guys and the other members of our school. However, I need to remember that I am usually wishing for time to just relax and spend time with my family. So I am going to make the absolute most of it.

We have been having lots of family movie nights, board games, meals altogether around the table and obviously learning together. We've been in the garden watering flowers and building dens and training our dog new tricks (she is loving us all being at home!). This afternoon I am teaching my little one about statistics in maths and tonight my eldest is challenging me to a game of cards.

If you happen to live with someone who is still working and continuing their busy and important jobs, be proud of the hard work they are doing and perhaps treat them to a cup of tea when they get home.

We should always try and see the positives in every day and keep smiling
